Large travel range
The mesoSPIM Version 5 features stages from Physik Instrumente with 52 x 52 x 102 mm travel range. Ideally, the travel range should be sufficiently larger than your sample.
Image a whole mouse CNS without cutting
Example autofluorescence & GFP datasets of a GlyT2::EGFP mouse CNS cleared using X-CLARITY
Multiview imaging
Rotate the sample to obtain a second view or - in the ideal case - just rotate the dataset if the axial resolution permits.
Zoom in to resolve single cells
By zooming in, the sample can be imaged at higher resolution. Shown is a volume rendering of a subsection of the spinal cord imaged at 4x magnification.
Sample mounting
To image a whole mouse CNS, place the sample in a large imaging cuvette (10x20x120 mm) and submerge it in an even larger immersion cuvette (40x40x120 mm).
